"Good luck getting anyone to respond"
I tried reaching out to Sportsman's Warehouse twice about an issue with my order, and apparently getting a basic reply is too advanced for them. No answer to my email, and the phone just left me sitting there wasting my time. All I needed was a simple answer, but their customer service is basically useless.

"Felt Like a Bait and Switch"
I ordered a jacket from Sportsman’s Warehouse expecting something decent for the price, but it felt like a bait and switch once it showed up. The photos and description made it seem like good-quality gear, but right out of the box it felt cheap. The stitching was already loose, and one of the zippers kept catching even though I only tried it on. For what I paid, I really expected a lot better. The return process was a hassle too, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. I don’t think I’ll be buying gear from here again

"I ordered a few things and somehow about..."
I ordered a few things and somehow about half of it wasn’t what I actually picked. Some of the sizes were wrong, and one item was completely different. I reached out to customer service, but it took a while to hear back, and even then it wasn’t really clear what I was supposed to do next. I ended up having to deal with sending things back, which was just a hassle. Super frustrating when you wait for your gear and it shows up wrong. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them online again.

"Firearm pickup was way more frustrating than it needed to be"
I ordered a firearm online for store pickup, and the whole thing turned into a mess. The updates were slow, nobody seemed to really know what was going on, and I ended up standing around waiting without getting a clear answer. I completely understand there’s paperwork and a process for this kind of purchase, but it felt really disorganized. What made it worse was the way some of the staff talked to me, like I was being a problem for asking basic questions. Just not a great experience overall

"I went in thinking it’d be a..."
I went in thinking it’d be a quick stop, but the store was kind of a mess. I couldn’t find half the things I was looking for, and the aisles felt like everything was just shoved wherever. The signs didn’t really help either, which was annoying. I mean, it wasn’t the end of the world, but after wandering around for a while I just got fed up and left without buying anything.

"Felt Misled by How Bad the Website Is"
I expected the website to work a lot better, but it’s been really frustrating. The pages keep freezing up, and it makes the whole thing such a pain to use. It feels a bit misleading because it seemed like it would be a smooth experience, but that definitely hasn’t been the case for me...

"Felt like I was left in the dark"
I never got any emails or order updates, which was frustrating. I’m used to at least getting a quick confirmation or shipping notice like I do with other places I order from, but here I had to follow up myself just to find out what was going on

"I don’t know if it’s just me, but..."
I don’t know if it’s just me, but compared to other sites where a promo code either works or clearly doesn’t, this was really annoying. Every discount I tried looked valid until checkout, then suddenly it wouldn’t apply. The sale prices also seemed to change super fast, and when I reached out to support, all I really got was a “sorry.” felt like I wasted my time.

"Staff wasn’t much help"
I went in looking for advice on fishing line, but the guy helping me seemed like he was mostly guessing. I ended up standing in the aisle looking it up on my phone myself, which was frustrating. On top of that, the reminders from the store have been way too aggressive lately, so the whole experience just left me annoyed...

I ordered a jacket from Sportsman's Warehouse, but it fit kinda weird, so I packed it back up and sent it out the very next day.

The tracking showed they got the return, but then I just sat around waiting for weeks with no refund. Every time I hit up customer service, they gave me the same “it’s processing” line with no actual help.

At this point, I’m still out the money and had to keep chasing them for answers. returning stuff here is way too much of a hassle, and it’s just not worth it.

"Not worth it for a deal hunter"
As someone who always compares prices before buying, I just couldn’t justify shopping here. Pretty much everything I looked at was cheaper somewhere else, and even the sale prices didn’t feel like much of a deal. I really wanted to find some value, but it just wasn’t there for me...

"Inventory didn’t match what was shown"
I checked online and it said the item was in stock, so I figured great, I’ll go grab it, but when I got there it wasn’t actually available. Kind of frustrating because I made the trip based on what the inventory showed, and it just ended up being a waste of time.

I went on sportsmanswarehouse.com just trying to grab a few basic fishing and camping things, but it felt like almost everything I clicked on was out of stock or only available in some odd size or color nobody would actually want.
The whole thing got frustrating fast. The selection was way thinner than I expected, and it wasn’t even clear who’s supposed to be responsible for keeping the site updated or managing inventory. I kept clicking around, hitting dead ends, and eventually just gave up.
